I'M A MUSICIAN and a chronic geek from the Swedish west coast. I grew up with an Atari ST, outgrew and forgot about it and built an Apple-based studio with a bunch of synths, but realized after a few years I wanted to go back to my roots using the Atari again.
I've done live performances in Sweden and abroad and I'm always looking for opportunities to use my music as an excuse to see the world.
CURRENTLY NONE. Be the first to book me!
Turn off that noise!
OK, IT'S 2016 and I'm sure we're way past this discussion by now. Of course — this music isn't for everyone — but as for all music it's a result of someone trying to get creative with an instrument. Be it an acoustic guitar or a silicon chip from the early 80s.
CHIPMUSIC or CHIPTUNE are generic terms for synthesized music produced with vintage computers, video game consoles or arcade machines. It can also be referred to as 8-BIT, BITPOP or similar names.
Chipmusic, however, isn't necessarily 8-bit. For instance, I'm mostly using an Atari ST/e which uses a 4-bit soundchip, YM2149, for generating sound.
DO YOU WANT TO BOOK me for a chiptune gig or just say hello? Do it here!
